The race on Le Mans yesterday are the second time in 2016 that count only 13 riders able to finished a MotoGP race. The first was in Argentina GP.
Marquez and Lorenzo are now won twice race each, while Rossi forced to play catch up to his teammate. The championship points are the tightest after French GP, the gap from first to third is only 12 points.
Ducati bad luck
This also mark another disastrous weekend for the Ducati Factory Team, neither of their riders are able to finish the race. Both riders are in podium position when they fell, and this mark that Ducati are the only factory team who have their satellite riders and teams ahead of them in the championship.
Suzuki First Podium
Maverick Viñales (Team Suzuki Ecstar) bring the first podium for Suzuki in 2016. In Argentina he could be in second place but unfortunately he crash while passed his hero Valentino Rossi. Viñales was the first rider to take a debut premier class podium since Scott Redding defied the odds in Misano back in 2015.
